the food aside from being delicious have big portions. each solo order can actually be for 2. you can also look around while waiting for your order to come. my only issue is we ordered melon shake and followed up 2x but it didn't come. when we billed out the receipt showed watermelon shake. when i called out that it did not arrive they offered to rush it but i said no so they removed it

The food is very good and affordable, and the serving is great. The atmosphere is very rustic, which will appeal to some but not to me, honestly, and that’s okay. The service is good, too. Overall, a great spot for breakfast and lunch for families.

We enjoyed our orders which were mostly breakfast fare. will be back to try out their other menu items. The place, where a large part is not airconditioned, was still breezy. Lots of cinema historical info in their decor

First time to go here to have brunch. The restaurant is full of curated pieces, every angle is IG-worthy. Inside, there's the Eugene Torre chess museum where there is a life-sized chess board and displays of themed chess sets (Star Wars, Shrek, Coca-cola, etc). The tables are painted with chess boards, I believe you can also borrow or buy chess sets. The place is well-lit and well ventilated, even the restroom (which by the way is very clean and well-designed) can be used without lights on (very environment-friendly). The food is also affordable. I had goto with ox tripe and kasubha which was Php 100, and plus Php 25 for boiled egg. It was very yummy and comforting, with lots of tripe -- easily the loveliest goto I had in recent memory. There is no service charge, but their service is good, so tipping is very welcome. You can also buy bread from their storefront. They have pan de coco exclusively on Thursdays. The biscocho (Php 20 per pack) is good, I wish they have bigger packs. Overall, excellent place to dine with family and friends. :)

Great food at reasonable prices. IG-worthy place. It houses the Eugene Torre Chess Museum. Every nook and cranny is IG worthy, even the bathroom. Curated displays/interior decors. The only downside is that it's not well ventilated. It gets quite humid inside.

This place is so aesthetic 😍 the dishes were delicious, the ambiance is charming. Huge servings, highly recommend this place, it's so beautiful, for great pictures. Worth the try.

Went here for brunch during weekend. There are a lot of customers during brunch time. There are a lot of tables available and service is fast. We ordered Bangus meal, their signature Palabok, Pandesal, Hot Chocolate, Lumpiang Toge, and Lumpiang Sariwa. Everything's delicious and we enjoyed our food.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family and was pleasantly surprised by the unique and inviting interior decor. The nature-inspired theme was beautifully executed, and the addition of a chess museum was a delightful touch. My daughter, in particular, was thrilled to explore the place and learn more about the game. But it wasn't just the ambiance that impressed me; the food was superb as well! The bread, in particular, was simply amazing. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the taste did not disappoint. The rest of the menu was equally impressive, with a variety of dishes to suit any taste. The Filipino breakfast meal we ordered has really big serving. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal. I especially appreciated their knowledge of the menu and their willingness to make recommendations based on our preferences. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dining experience with delicious food and a fun, educational atmosphere.
